We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of high-quality dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
* Participate in food production processes, including chopping, mixing, and cooking ingredients.
* Ensure all food items are stored correctly and labelled appropriately to maintain freshness.
* Assist in menu planning and development by providing input based on seasonal ingredients and trends.

Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is required with a focus on food production and preparation.
* Demonstrated culinary experience with a passion for cooking and creativity in dish presentation.
* Supervising experience is advantageous, particularly in managing team dynamics within a busy kitchen setting.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential for maintaining health standards.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
