Rate: £70 per session Job Purpose To provide operational and safeguarding support at Academy facilities during training and matchdays. Role Accountabilities & Key Duties To conduct the meet and greet of Opposition Clubs and Match Officials at the Academy. To brief Security Staff on event details and timings, ensuring that all activities are staffed appropriately. To complete training manager reports/trip lead documents as required. To provide the point of contact for Cranford Community College Staff whilst the Academy utilise their facilities. To ensure that the relevant safety checks are completed before and throughout Academy activities. To oversee the registration/dismissal processes at Academy events. To ensure that any issues relating to Academy activities are reported efficiently to the appropriate members of Academy Staff. To develop a sound working knowledge of safeguarding children’s regulations, including legislation & governing body rules. To undertake personal CPD as appropriate to meet the demands of the role. Participate in the appraisal process. Comply with all company policies/procedures. Adhere to all company regulations regarding policies, procedures, health, safety and security. All other duties that may arise from time to time and fall within the scope of this position. About The Candidate Qualifications Advanced DBS check Current FA Safeguarding Certificate FA EFAiF Certificate Clean UK driving licence (desirable) Skills, Knowledge & Experience Experience of working with children An understanding of policies, procedures and systems relating to safeguarding and protecting young people Previous experience of providing operational support in an elite sporting environment The ability to liaise empathetically and effectively with young people.
