Role Overview
The Asphalt Manager will oversee daily operations of asphalt testing and quality assurance, ensuring all tests meet industry standards and client requirements. You will manage resources, coordinate your team, and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise asphalt site testing and lab operations
* Coordinate team activities and manage resources
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
* Liaise with clients and prepare a high-quality report
* Maintain quality assurance across all projects
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive knowledge of asphalt site testing, bituminous lab testing, and pavement investigation, such as density testing, 3-metre beam, texture testing, and RSE, with coring experience preferred.
* Strong project management, leadership, and team coordination skills
* Familiarity with HSE compliance in civil engineering and construction
* Excellent communication skills for client consultation and reporting
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in materials testing or civil engineering preferred
* Previous experience in a similar role advantageous
