We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care home ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Support individuals in following their personalised care plans to promote independence and quality of life.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required, ensuring their safety during transport.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
Experience
* Previous experience care home setting is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
* Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication is beneficial.
* A caring nature with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for success in this role.
