We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join as a Senior Manager, People Advisory. This role partners with people colleagues, managers, and legal, supporting the full range of employee relations activities across the UK and all business sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting and managing complex people issues in line with HSBC values, including investigations, formal hearings, restructuring, litigation, and settlement negotiations.
* Producing high-quality documentation, including letters and investigation reports.
* Partnering with Employment Legal to provide guidance on employment litigation, using up-to-date employment law, HR practices, compliance, and risk management.
* Coaching, training, and developing HR colleagues and managers on resolving ER matters through casework and ad hoc requests.
* Participating in Employee Relations projects.
Requirements for success:
* Experience managing high-risk, sensitive ER issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability processes, supporting litigation cases independently or with Legal.
* Ability to lead ER investigations and produce detailed reports and letters.
* Experience providing risk-based advice on redundancy, redeployment, and TUPE programs.
* Supporting or leading discussions and drafting settlement agreements.
* Deep knowledge of HR procedures, policies, employment law, and practical application.
This role can be based in Leeds or Birmingham on a hybrid basis.
