As a Warehouse Team Leader based in Marston Gate, youll be responsible for:
* Overseeing a designated section of the distribution centre while managing a team of around 15 colleagues.
* Leading day-to-day operations, including picking, packing, resolving errors, driving productivity, and handling admin such as sickness, holidays, return-to-work interviews, disciplinaries and grievances.
* Monitoring and managing team KPIs, ensuring targets such as picks per hour are consistently met.
* Supporting and guiding the team on shift while also working hands-on, including a small amount of loading when required.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 2.00pm 10.00pm
And heres what wed like you to have:
* Strong people-management skills with proven leadership experience; previous team-leader or supervisory background is essential.
* Warehouse experience is desirable, along with the ability to work accurately and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
* Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
* MHE licences (VNA, PPT, Counterbalance, Reach) are desirable; having one or more is beneficial but not essential.
