I am delighted to be supporting an established manufacturer, who are based in the heart of County Durham, on the appointment of an HSE Manager to come onboard and join them on a permanent basis.
As an experienced Health and Safety Leader, you will take the lead in driving all HSE activities across the site, you will work to embed a safety culture across the site, working proactively to manage the risks and hazards. You will work to deliver change management through developing strong stakeholder relationships as well as managing the relationship with the UK H&S Executive to ensure all inspections and audits are managed effectively. You will work to educate and upskill the wider business at all levels on HSE policy and procedure, as well as ensure all HSE compliance targets are met. You will drive all HSE activities as well as implement initiatives and policies accordingly. Working as the manager of a small team, you will work to develop the talent within your team as well as have a hands-on approach to your work.To succeed in this role, you will be a proven HSE Manager with experience working within manufacturing environments, you will have a Graduate IOSH or NEBOSH General Certificate in Safety and have experience of ISO 14001. You will lead from the front and have the ability to develop stakeholder relationships.
