An experienced Senior Residential Property Manager is required to lead and oversee property management operations as Head of Property Management in the Streatham area: delivering high-quality service, managing staff, and ensuring compliance within a successful independent lettings agency.
A highly successful independent estate and lettings agency in Streatham is seeking a Head of Property Management to oversee their residential portfolio and support the growth of their property management division.
The role requires expertise in all aspects of residential property management, including tenancy renewals, deposits, and legal notices, alongside excellent client, tenant, contractor, and supplier management skills. This is an excellent career development opportunity for an experienced, ambitious and professional candidate.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
* Lead and manage the residential property management team
* Oversee tenancy renewals, deposits, and notices (S21/S8)
* Ensure compliance with property legislation and company policies
* Liaise effectively with landlords, tenants, suppliers, and contractors
* Maintain high levels of customer service and tenant satisfaction
* Monitor team performance and provide guidance, support, and training
* Implement and maintain efficient property management processes
* Report to senior management on portfolio performance and issues
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):
* Proven experience in residential property management
* ARLA membership desirable but not essential
* Strong knowledge of tenancy law and property legislation
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Professional telephone manner and confident communicator
* Well-presented, self-motivated, and efficient
* Positive, professional, and team-focused approach
* Willingness to stay up to date with training and legislation
* Full UK driving licence
