We are working in partnership with HSC Northern Ireland to source Locum FY2 Doctors for General Medicine vacancies across multiple hospital sites in Northern Ireland.

* Ulster Hospital, Belfast
* Antrim Area Hospital, Antrim
* Lagan Valley Hospital, Lisburn
* Ards Hospital, Newtownards
* Downe Hospital, Downpatrick
Pay & Engagement
* £33.00 - £38.07 per hour dependent on site and shift type
* Engaged inside IR35
* Payment via PAYE or approved Umbrella Company
Responsibilities
Working within busy General Medicine inpatient teams, you will be responsible for clerking new admissions, conducting ward rounds, reviewing investigations, escalating concerns appropriately, and contributing to safe and effective patient care under senior supervision.
Essential Requirements
* Full GMC registration - active and in good standing at time of appointment
* MB BCh or equivalent primary medical qualification
* Minimum 1 year full-time postgraduate medical experience, including at least 4 months at FY2 level in General Medicine
* Previous NHS or HSC experience
* Enhanced AccessNI certificate (or willingness to apply - we can facilitate)
* Valid medical indemnity insurance (MDU, MPS, MDDUS or equivalent)
* Two professional references covering the last 3 years
* Proof of Right to Work in the United Kingdom
* Occupational health clearance including Hepatitis B, HIV and TB documentation
Compliance
All candidates must meet the full HSC Northern Ireland enhanced compliance standard prior to commencement of any placement. This includes but is not limited to AccessNI check, occupational health clearance, GMC verification, and reference checks.
Important Note
Candidates must be based in or willing to travel to Northern Ireland to be considered for these roles. We are unable to consider applications from candidates who are not available to work in Northern Ireland.
