To support thebusiness through the provision of high quality general financial and administrativesupport.
1. Accountabilities
2. Project Accounting – Assist with integrity of costs, revenue ledgers and transaction processing
3. Assist with management of accounting systems and processes including reconciliation of records and system access
4. Maintenance of sound financial controls, in line with Company guidelines, ensuring that all applicable requirements can be met at all times
5. Responsibilities
6. Ensure the process of verification and reconciliation of all supplier invoices is in place and carried out accurately
7. Support Business Credit Card cost management and reconciliations including the reporting of such costs
8. Support query resolution for all invoices
9. Process all suppliers’ invoices for Project/ BU accurately
10. Managing the accounts payable/receivable function efficiently and effectively
11. Ensuring all invoices and expenses are authorised in line with Company policy and accounted for in line with accounting standards and VAT rules
12. Conduct financial duties, for example, monitoring and supporting processing invoices or tracking costs.
13. Recharges from AT/DE cost centres – salary, travel, IT to head office cost centres
14. Internal recharges of hours per time sheet
15. Support for the forecast and reporting
16. Month EndProcesses
17. Prepare, monthly accruals, self-invoicing and all cost related accruals
18. Dealing with requests for information, back up documents for the Commercial team
19. Timely production of accurate relevant monthly financial information to the Commercial team
20. Preparing and posting accurate Journals, Accruals and Prepayments in line with accounting policies, and accurate cost allocation
21. Understanding of project balance sheet controls and where required prepare reconciliations
22. Other
23. Support process of raising applications to the client
24. Managing Assistant Project Accountant/s
25. Assist with managing audits on site (internal & external) and ensure any outstanding issues are closed out
Qualifikationen
26. Good knowledge of accounting principles and computer systems
27. Minimum level - Intermediate Excel skills
28. Self-starter, organised, with a high level of attention to detail.
29. Studying towards a recognised qualification (ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA) or holding BA in related field (economics, finance, or business administration)
30. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet business deadlines & needs.
31. Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
