MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading food business on the search for a Shift Operations Manager. This is a perm role based in West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive performance of your team and support functions to deliver efficiency.
* Seek out new and innovative ways to deal with production issues, utilizing CI techniques.
* Ensure compliance with all site Health and Safety Regulations
* Execute the shift training plan to improve performance / flexibility and organise any additional training through gap analysis that may be required.
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum 3 years leading teams within a fast-paced food or beverage manufacturing environment e.g. multiple SKUs, product changeovers, packaging variants etc.
* Understands how KPIs are developed, and a track record of achieving results and ‘raising the bar’.Must be familiar with Production Performance Measurements.
* Strong management skills and an ability to operate and make decisions under pressure, whilst having your team at the forefront of your mind. Must be people orientated.
* A proven track record of close working relationships with all operational functions and an appreciation of what each function is required to achieve in order to execute the plan.
* Experience of CI within FMCG.
