Estimator - Commercial & Light Civils Construction | North East
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join a financially stable regional construction company delivering high-quality commercial and civils projects across the North East. With at least 2 years of projects already guaranteed and a strong pipeline of future work, this role offers stability and variety.
Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate cost estimates and take-offs for projects up to £20 million.
* Work on commercial and light civils projects, including steel structures and cladding systems.
* Collaborate with project teams on procurement, value engineering, and commercial reporting.
* Support tender submissions and bid processes to help secure new contracts.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in construction estimating for commercial or civils projects.
* Hands-on experience with take-offs and preparing competitive bids.
* Understanding of steel frameworks, cladding, and associated civils works.
* Strong numerical, commercial, and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
