The successful applicant will work as a member of our multidisciplinary team involved in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents who access our services. This will involve key working with young people and supporting them on their recovery journey. You will work collaboratively with the young people to develop care plans, risk assessments, and positive behaviour support plans, contributing to expanding the resources young people and their families need to support care in the community.
You may be required to support the therapies team with our therapeutic timetable, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your psychological skills. Additionally, you will be required to advocate for your patients in meetings both internally and externally to ensure they receive evidence-based, valued care.
We care for young people with a variety of mental health issues, and the post would best suit someone who is able to work as part of a team, caring for young people experiencing, at times, significant distress.
