Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to work for a company in Lancaster with regular travel to Bangor, Wales (multi-site responsibility)
Role: Facilities Manager
Salary: £38,939 - £47,465 per annum
Location: Lancaster with regular travel to Bangor, Wales (multi-site responsibility)
Hours: Full time, fixed term - 12 months
Key Responsibilities of the Facilities Manager:
1. Lead and manage Workplace teams at both sites, including administration and operations staff.
2. Oversee building and services compliance, health and safety, and service contracts.
3. Ensure delivery of safe, clean, and efficient environments aligned with company standards.
4. Manage budgets and procurement in line with organisational procedures.
5. Collaborate with the SHE teams to maintain updated risk assessments and compliance documentation.
6. Support EEDI initiatives and promote inclusive practices across teams.
7. Coordinate site visits, audits, and inspections, ensuring leadership presence at both locations.
8. Support Sites Services Manager in Customer Service improvement plans across 4 sites
About you:
9. A Workplace/Facilities qualification or 5+ years’ relevant experience.
10. Health and Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH).
11. Knowledge of regulations for soft services.
12. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and contractor management skills.
13. Proven leadership and team management experience.
14. Good understanding of finance and HR processes.
15. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Can use onsite fleet vehicles) – travel between Bangor and Lancaster is essential.
