Data Analyst Location: Milton Keynes Rate: £350 to £400 per day (inside IR35) Duration: 12 months, with likely extension Working Model: Hybrid 2 days per week on site About the Role Our client, a leading global payments technology company, is seeking an experienced commercially minded analytics consultant to support payments performance across aggregator and PayFac channels for one of their key global retail bank partners. This role combines deep analytical capability with strong commercial and consulting skills, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve optimisation, conversion, and commercial outcomes. You will operate in a consultative capacity, using data-driven insight to influence decision-making and deliver practical solutions across aggregator-based payment models. Key Responsibilities Analyse payments and aggregator-level datasets to identify performance, optimisation, and conversion opportunities. Apply strong commercial acumen to understand and improve aggregator economics, pricing, and revenue drivers. Partner with internal bank stakeholders and external partners to manage performance and deliver optimisation initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex analytical insight into clear commercial recommendations. Support strategic decisions relating to aggregators, PayFacs, and payment facilitators. Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics, reporting, and performance frameworks. Required Skills & Experience Analytics & Data Strong background in data analytics (commercial, pricing, or performance-focused). Experience working with payments data, transaction data, or large-scale commercial datasets. Ability to derive actionable insight and link data to commercial outcomes. Commercial & Domain Knowledge Deep understanding of aggregator commercial models, including pricing, margins, and conversion mechanics. Experience with aggregators, payment facilitators (PayFac), or merchant acquiring ecosystems. Strong commercial judgement with the ability to evaluate performance and optimisation opportunities. Consulting & Stakeholder Management Proven ability to work in a consulting-style role within a large, complex organisation. Confident managing and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication skills able to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Why Apply?
