Machine Mart is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our established team at our Nottingham Head Office. This fully office-based role involves managing a team and ensuring the development of a cost-effective, competitive, and stable supply chain. If you are interested, we want to hear from you. Key responsibilities include:
* Sourcing new products
* Negotiating with suppliers to achieve optimal market value
* Meeting annual targets related to cost, quality, reliability, and delivery
* Managing the Purchasing department
* Identifying improvements in processes and procedures
* Developing and monitoring departmental KPIs for performance enhancement
* Liaising with suppliers for marketing contributions when needed
* Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required
