A fully private Dental Practice in Oswestry, Shropshire, is currently looking for an experienced Clinical Dental Technician.
Tasks
* Direct Patient Care: Conduct clinical examinations and provide complete dentures directly to patients without a dentist's prior review.
* Impression Taking: Take initial and final impressions of patients' mouths to create accurate models.
* Bite Registration: Record, measure, and analyze jaw relationships (occlusal registrations) to ensure proper tooth alignment.
* Fitting and Adjustments: Fit, adjust, and insert removable dentures (full or partial) to ensure comfort and function.
* Clinical Procedures: Perform intra-oral and extra-oral tracing, take photographs, and manage shade selection for prosthetics.
* Repairs and Relines: Provide immediate repairs, relines, or additions to existing dentures.
* Referrals: Identify abnormal oral conditions or pathologies and refer patients to dentists for further treatment.
