Overview
The Head of Procurement Projects & Solutions is a senior, customer-facing leadership role responsible for designing and delivering customer solutions by translating client needs into high-quality, scalable delivery across BuyingStation’s services and implementations.
The role sits at the intersection of customer success, solution design, and delivery governance. It owns the UK-facing requirements, insight, and relationship layer, while ensuring work is efficiently delivered through the India-based Client Delivery team. This role also holds accountability for the Programme Management Office (PMO), setting delivery standards, governance, and rhythm across all projects—regardless of where execution occurs. In partnership with the Head of Client Delivery (India), the Head of Projects & Solutions ensures processes are aligned, teams are upskilled, and clients experience a seamless, professional, and insight-led BuyingStation journey.

Established in the UK in 2015, Novo-K has been at the forefront of delivering purposeful procurement to businesses for over a decade. Following a period of growth, the business opened its first overseas office in India in 2023.
In 2025, Novo-K rebranded to BuyingStation, in line with the launch of its ProcureTech platform.
Today, the business continues to support customers with procurement services whilst levelling the field for small procurement teams with BuyingStation

Core Accountability Statement
The Head of Projects & Solutions works in close partnership with the Head of Client Delivery (India) to ensure:
* Clear articulation of client expectations, outcomes, and success measures
* Appropriate resourcing and skill alignment within delivery teams
* Strong, continuous communication between customer-facing UK teams and India-based delivery teams
* Relevant expertise is applied across both customer-facing and delivery functions
* Consistent quality, accountability, and client experience across geographies
The Head of Projects & Solutions is accountable for:
* End-to-End Project & Solutions Oversight
* Owning the successful delivery of all customer projects, implementations, and solution work, from UK-based discovery through to India-led execution and completion.
* Acting as a senior, trusted partner to clients, gathering requirements, shaping solutions, providing insight, and maintaining confidence through clear communication and progress updates.
* PMO Ownership & Delivery Governance
* Establishing and running the PMO, including delivery standards, project controls, reporting cadence, risk management, and prioritisation across all workstreams.
* Working in close partnership with the Head of Client Delivery to ensure handovers are clear, processes are consistent, capacity is planned, and quality is assured across geographies.
* Capability Building & Team Uplift
* Leading, coaching, and upskilling the UK team to operate as high-value solution leads, focused on insight, clarity, and customer outcomes rather than task execution.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Stack Ownership & Operational Implementation
* Own the operational delivery tech stack used to deliver customer solutions across Projects and Services, e.g., Project Management Tool.
* Ensure tools, workflows, and systems are implemented consistently across UK and India teams.
* Define standards for system usage, data quality, reporting, and delivery visibility.
Customer & Solutions Leadership
* Lead client discovery sessions to capture requirements, outcomes, and success measures.
* Translate client needs into clear scopes, solution designs, and delivery plans.
* Act as escalation point for complex client or delivery issues.
* Provide regular, structured updates to clients on progress, risks, and outcomes.
Project & PMO Management
* Own the PMO framework, including:
* Project initiation and approval
* Planning and prioritisation
* RAID management
* Delivery reporting and dashboards
* Ensure consistent use of project management tools, templates, and cadence.
* Balance multiple concurrent projects across Managed Services, Spend Analysis, and Platform Implementation.
UK–India Delivery Interface
* Define and maintain clear handover processes between UK and India teams.
* Ensure requirements, acceptance criteria, and timelines are unambiguous before work enters delivery.
* Work closely with the Head of Client Delivery Lead on:
* Capacity planning
* Process improvement
* Quality assurance
* Lead and mentor UK-based project and solution resources.
* Build capability in requirements gathering, solution shaping, and client communication.
* Foster a culture of ownership, clarity, and delivery excellence.
Commercial & Strategic Support
* Support pre-sales and solution shaping for complex or bespoke client opportunities.
* Feed delivery insight into product, platform, and roadmap discussions.
* Identify recurring patterns and opportunities to standardise, automate, or productise solutions.
Success Measures
* High client satisfaction and retention across projects and implementations.
* Predictable, well-governed delivery with reduced escalation and rework.
* Improved delivery maturity, capability, and confidence across teams.
Experience & Capability Profile
* Strong background in project delivery, implementation, or Procurement managed services.
* Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
* Ability to translate complex requirements into structured delivery plans.
* Experience in procurement spend analysis, or source-to-contract environments.
* SaaS or platform implementation experience.
* PMO ownership or delivery governance leadership.
Role Evolution
* This role is foundational to BuyingStation’s scale journey. As operations mature, the Head of Projects & Solutions will play a key role in shaping delivery strategy, enabling product-led scale, and supporting the transition from managed service intensity toward platform-enabled growth.
