We are offering a new position within the Bedfordshire Healthy Child Programme, with opportunities for progression to training as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse covering the 0-19 age range.

Across our Luton and Bedfordshire teams, we are developing an exciting opportunity for NMC registered practitioners to work with children and families from the antenatal period to 19 years of age.
If you hold a current Band 5 NMC registration, are excited by innovation, and passionate about the public health agenda and improving health outcomes for children, young people, and families, then this may be the career for you.
You will work in an integrated 0-19 team within our Luton and Bedfordshire services and will be supported to develop in the role, gaining the skills and knowledge necessary to support the skill mix team to deliver our services confidently and competently.
This role offers the opportunity to work both virtually and in person, gaining experience with our universal services and targeted community offerings.
Upon successful appointment, you will be expected to undertake the Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) degree course within 3 years of joining, depending on your readiness and course availability.
Please note that this role requires the ability to travel to various bases, other services, and families' homes. Development roles are available across all areas of Luton and Bedfordshire.
