Housekeeping Operations Manager
Join Center Parcs UK & Ireland as Housekeeping Operations Manager and help uphold our high accommodation standards. The role supports more than 700 units, from apartments to lodges and treehouses, and ensures our public and office spaces meet exceptional guest expectations.
Salary: £47,800 per annum plus a 12 % bonus scheme.
Overview
At Centre Parcs, all accommodation is designed and built to the highest standards. The Housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining over 700 units and the public areas of each village. This is the largest housekeeping team in each village and no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and guide Housekeeping Zone Managers to ensure efficient and policy‑conforming housekeeping processes.
* Deputise for the Accommodation and Housekeeping Services Manager when absent, attending meetings on their behalf and maintaining smooth department operations.
* Produce and analyse key statistics, identify trends and follow up on any adverse results.
* Participate in disciplinary and grievance investigations/hearings, ensuring formal resolution.
* Provide advice and coaching to managers.
* Assist with mid‑week and weekend Duty Management.
* Prepare the Housekeeping divisional budget update every four weeks.
About You – Essential Requirements
* Good level of computer literacy and analytical skills.
* Proven track record in leading a team, including strong influencing skills.
* Management qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 4 or equivalent).
* Experience within the hospitality or facilities industry.
* Experience managing large teams.
* Financial control experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Hours of Work
Contracted to 160 hours per 4‑week period on a flexible basis. Days and hours vary each week, but all contracted hours are guaranteed.
Typical shifts are between 9 am and 5 pm and include some weekends, public/bank holidays and Christmas/New Year on a rota basis.
