Overview
Join Our Team as Chief Audiologist at Royal Cornwall Hospital. We are seeking a passionate and experienced audiologist to lead our team and provide high-quality care to the community. The Chief Audiologist will deputise for the Clinical Lead in their absence and support the Clinical Lead clinically and professionally for all audiology services.
Responsibilities
* Deputise for the Clinical Lead in their absence.
* Support the Clinical Lead clinically and professionally for all audiology services, including Paediatric Audiology, Adult Rehabilitation, Diagnostic Audiovestibular assessment, NHSP and Hearing Therapy.
* Support the progression of the service towards IQIPS accreditation.
* Maintain a personal complex clinical workload (including Lead on the Vestibular service) while providing clinical supervision and training.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Clinical Scientist (Audiology) registered with HCPC or Clinical Physiologist (Audiology) registered with AHCS
* MSc in Audiology or equivalent experience
* Portfolio of evidence for CPD in Audiology
* Leadership training or supervising experience
Experience
* Substantial senior-level experience in Audiology
* Experience in staff management/training at Supervisor level
* Experience with adults (including Vestibular assessments) and paediatrics
* Experience of Clinical Governance in NHS
Desirable
* Education/teaching certification
* Leadership, coaching or mentorship training
* Recent involvement in research or audit
