Your new role As Production Shift Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operations of your shift within a three-week rotating pattern of days (7am-3pm), evenings (3pm-11pm), and nights (11pm-7am). You will lead a team to ensure that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve managing staff, machinery, materials, and methods to maximise output while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment. You will play a key role in driving performance, meeting KPIs, and contributing to the overall success of the department. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have at least two years' experience in a supervisory / managerial role within a manufacturing environment. You will bring strong leadership and communication skills, along with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control is essential, as is proficiency in ERP or CRM systems. You will be highly organised, results-driven, and capable of solving problems efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
