Production Operatives - Earlies or Lates
Location: Buckingham, United Kingdom
Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £27,000 (+50p / hour shift premium for Late shift only)
Shifts: Permanent Early Shift: Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00; Permanent Late Shift: Monday to Friday 14:00 – 22:00
Your Mission
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and right-first-time manufacturing of all batches scheduled on the daily plan. You will work closely with the Production Team Leaders to ensure all processes are followed accurately, maintaining a strong focus on food safety and health regulations.
What you will do
* Follow the daily production plan to meet output targets.
* Prepare each batch according to SOPs and seek support when needed to ensure accuracy.
* Ensure all raw materials are present and handled safely.
* Maintain 100% allergen control and prevent cross-contamination.
* Complete quality and traceability checks.
* Coordinate the supply of raw materials and equipment to ensure efficient production.
* Communicate effectively with your colleagues, including the Production Team Leaders.
* Support new product launches and trials with the R&D team.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and support high-profile visits and audits.
* Assist in training and induction of new team members.
* Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Management teams to address non-conformances and improvement areas.
