Job Title: Exam Invigilator
Location: Grantham
Salary Range: £90 - £110 per day
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education Lincolnshire are currently seeking Exam Invigilators to support schools in Grantham during the busy exam season. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking part-time or ad-hoc work in a school environment, including university students, retired professionals, or anyone with availability during the day.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Set up examination rooms by school and exam board guidelines.
* Distribute and collect exam papers and other materials efficiently.
* Supervise students during exams, ensuring minimal disruption and strict compliance with regulations.
* Report any incidents, irregularities, or malpractice in line with school policies.
* Support students by providing a calm and reassuring presence.
Who We’re Looking For:
We would love to hear from candidates who:
* Previous Experience: Prior experience as an exam invigilator or in a school-based setting is desirable but not essential; training can be provided for suitable candidates.
* A meticulous approach to following procedures and identifying any irregularities.
* Ability to give clear instructions and maintain a calm and authoritative presence.
* A high level of integrity, discretion, and punctuality.
* Willingness to work morning and/or afternoon exam sessions, sometimes at short notice.
* Flexible availability during school hours, particularly during the exam season.
Please keep in mind that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
