ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to work in an SEN School in Nuneaton on a full-time basis from September. About the role: As a Behaviour Support Assistant in a specialist SEN school, you will work closely with pupils aged 11–17 with Autism (ASC), many of whom have additional needs including social, emotional and mental health challenges, communication difficulties, and varying levels of cognitive or learning needs. Work in small groups with students who have behavioural or emotional difficulties. Implement behaviour management strategies as outlined in individual behaviour plans or positive behaviour support plans. De-escalate challenging behaviour using calm, consistent approaches.
