Overview
Multi Skilled Engineer - Manufacturing (Food Industry)
What you’ll do
* Planned and reactive maintenance (because stuff breaks, obviously).
* Spotting and suggesting improvements rather than bodging it and hoping for the best.
* Getting your head around a mix of machinery — some new, some… let’s call it “heritage equipment.”
* Keeping food safety and H&S at the front of your mind, because salmonella is not a KPI anyone wants.
* Talking to production in a way they actually understand.
What’s in it for you?
* Enhanced pension (more than the legal minimum, thankfully).
* Private healthcare.
* Annual pay reviews and profit-related pay (yes, actual money in your pocket).
* Discounts that make your payslip go further.
* Training that isn’t just a PowerPoint and a signature at the end.
What we’re looking for
* Electrical Level 3 NVQ (HNC is even better).
* Experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Fault-finding skills with or without drawings (MacGyver vibes welcome).
* Knowledge of electrical control panels, inverter drives and pneumatics.
* Initiative. Common sense. The ability to keep people in the loop without using 14 acronyms in one sentence.
So, if you’re a Multi Skilled Engineer who wants to be more than “the person who gets shouted at when the line stops,” you know what to do.
