Business Development Manager, Ophthalmic Lenses, South East England. Zest Optical are currently working alongside a leading manufacturer within the ophthalmic lens market to recruit a Business Development Manager to lead and develop a territory across the South East region (Surrey, Kent, Essex & Sussex).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established brand, working closely with independent practices and optical laboratories to drive sales growth and build long-term partnerships.
The Role
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of optical accounts across the South East
* Identify and win new business through proactive networking and outreach
* Deliver commercial growth through effective territory planning and account development
* Support training initiatives and customer events to drive product adoption
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer service
The Person
* Proven B2B sales experience within the optical industry, ideally within ophthalmic lenses
* Experience working in a practice environment
* Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
* Commercially aware with the ability to identify and develop opportunities
* Self‑motivated and comfortable working in a field‑based role
