You’ll be expected to:
1. Provide a highly specialised range of clinical interventions and knowledge of evidence-based models of practice relevant to the care group.
2. Deliver a high standard of evidence-based inpatient nursing care in the designated clinical setting in partnership with the team, the service users, and where appropriate, their family.
3. Act as a primary nurse in the assessment of needs and planning of the patients' care.
You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team, providing care and support to patients with complex and sometimes challenging behaviours. You'll help improve patients' quality of life by ensuring their needs are met and that each person is always treated with dignity and respect.
We are seeking psychologically minded, compassionate nurses who share the trust's aim to work alongside the people we support.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Delivering evidence-based inpatient nursing care in partnership with the team and patients' families.
* Assessing and planning patient care as a primary nurse.
* Supporting patients with complex mental health needs in an acute hospital environment.
* Developing high-quality services with multidisciplinary teams that consider physical, psychological, spiritual, and social needs.
* Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical reviews.
* Maintaining a therapeutic and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
We also expect flexibility in working hours, taking charge of designated clinical areas, and representing the clinical team at meetings.

Responsibilities include:
* Assessing individuals and their families or carers admitted to inpatient care, including high-risk cases.
* Developing care and discharge plans collaboratively.
* Participating in daily Board rounds to discuss patient needs and escalate issues.
* Assessing and managing risks with the multidisciplinary team, reviewing and modifying care plans as needed.
* Ensuring clinical practice aligns with NICE guidelines and Trust policies.
* Maintaining professional standards, ethics, and accurate clinical records.
* Providing therapeutic interventions for patients with complex mental health needs in an acute hospital setting.
