Along with this you will be providing support to their sister company, who are niche manufacturers. This is a varied role that will involve accounting and administrative duties.
Job Description
* As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for dealing with the day-to-day accounts and also providing administrative support
* Processing daily sales for both areas of the business
* As the Accounts/Admin Assistant you will be purchase invoice processing
* Sales and purchase ledger reconciliation
* Bank and cash reconciliation
* Preparing payments for authorisation and processing
* As the Accounts Assistant you will be posting of monthly journals
* Cashflow monitoring
* Processing payroll
* Maintenance of employee records
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Full administration support
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in accounting/bookkeeping is essential for the role
* Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
* Attention to detail
* Strong administration skills
* Confident individual
Hours: Monday Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Salary: Negotiable
