Community Pharmacy Arden and Community Pharmacy Herefordshire & Worcestershire are recruiting a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to guide both LPCs through an important period of change and support pharmacy contractors and teams. To build on the strong local relationships developed over the years.
The LPCs represent 180 pharmacies in Coventry and Warwickshire and 115 pharmacies in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We work with commissioners and stakeholders to plan, negotiate and support the delivery of healthcare services by our contractors.
This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary and hybrid working. Candidates must have strong community pharmacy and NHS knowledge, excellent relationship management skills, and resilience. The two LPCs cover two ICBs with varied healthcare needs across urban and rural areas. We are looking for an energetic, collaborative, influential senior leader with relevant expertise and experience.

Preparing for your interview:
· Prepare a PowerPoint Presentation to last 10 minutes, plus 3-5 minutes for questions from the panel – To cover 2 points: What is your understanding of opportunity for Community Pharmacy in the local healthcare system? Plus, describe your priorities for the first 6 months in the role, including support required during the 3-month handover period with the outgoing CEO. A copy of the presentation must be provided electronically no later than the morning of the interview and on a laptop or memory stick for use at the interview. The interview room will have facilities to present.

Key Aspects of the role
Job Details: Chief Executive Officer CPHW & CPA - Community Pharmacy Arden and Community Pharmacy Herefordshire & Worcestershire (Local Pharmaceutical Committees - LPCs). Reporting to the LPC Chairs and line managing the small, employed team.
Hours: Permanent, full time (40 hours) role spread over 5 days Monday – Friday with some flexibly to meet needs of the business, including supporting training evenings or weekend events.
Commencement date: April 2026, to allow for a minimum of 3 months handover from current CEO.
Location: Hybrid working from home and LPC Office (Evesham). Travel will be required to support training events, meetings and visits to pharmacies (a driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use is required).
