Shop Fitter / POS Installer People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Shop Fitter / POS Installer on behalf of our client based in Tewkesbury. This represents a fantastic opportunity to work with an established family-owned business specialising in the installation of retail signage and display systems across the UK and Europe. Successful candidates will receive a starting hourly rate of £13.00, with enhanced rates available depending on shift patterns and experience. You will be required to work various non-standard shift patterns, which may include nights out and weekends. Shifts • Working various days and nights between Monday and Sunday • 39 hours per week Rates of Pay • £13.00 – £18.00 per hour Benefits As a Shop Fitter / POS Installer, you will receive the following benefits: • Great rates of pay • Guaranteed hours • Temp to perm opportunity • Weekly pay • Subsistence allowance for nights out • Overtime and enhanced rates of pay • Company uniform provided • Company vehicle provided (after probation) Day-to-Day Duties Duties of the Shop Fitter / POS Installer will include (but are not limited to): • Installing POS equipment as required by the client • Completing jobs individually or as part of a team of Fitters / Contractors • Working from designs and diagrams provided and completing site surveys • Completing relevant paperwork as required • Loading and unloading products, ensuring they are secure and undamaged during transit • Working away from home when required, which may include travel abroad Essential Skills To be considered for this Shop Fitter / POS Installer role, applicants must have: • A good understanding of health and safety requirements and associated risks • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team • An understanding of technical diagrams and strong hand-to-eye coordination • The ability to liaise professionally and represent the company when required • Previous experience as a Fitter / Installer or in a similar role • A full UK driving licence with no more than three points • A current passport and willingness to travel abroad • Previous experience as a POS Fitter / Installer Desirable Experience The following experience is desirable but not essential: • Previous experience driving a 3.5 tonne van • A valid IPAF licence Training Provided • Full training on company policies and procedures provided by the client Apply If you are ready to get started, apply now using the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team for more information.
