Overview

Do you thrive in a collaborative, strategic environment where your work contributes to global education? The University of Surrey is seeking a Faculty Partnership Co-ordinator to support the growing portfolio of transnational education (TNE) activities across the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (FHMS).

About the Role

Reporting into the Faculty's Associate Director (Business Operations) and working closely with the Associate Dean (International), this pivotal role will provide operational support for the successful delivery of our collaborative international partnerships. You will be responsible for coordinating a portfolio of activities across international regions. In this outward-facing role, acting as a primary liaison between the Faculty and the partners you will work with academics and professional service colleagues to ensure alignment between strategic objectives, operational delivery, and relationship management. The role is based at our Guildford campus but may include some international travel to meet the business need. We value the benefits of flexible working and offer hybrid arrangements, with the expectation that you will be on site a minimum of 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide operational support for the development and delivery of transnational educational partnerships, and the associated deliverables.
* Manage and support relationships with international partners to ensure effective collaboration and successful delivery of joint initiatives.
* Coordinate cross-functional activity with internal stakeholders to support transnational business development, contractual delivery, and academic engagement.
* Act as a key point of contact for partners, representing the Faculty in external communications and negotiations.

What we are looking for

* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and build productive relationships.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

About the Faculty

The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences is a thriving and ambitious part of the University of Surrey. Home to five academic schools - Biosciences, Health Sciences, Medicine, Psychology, and Veterinary Medicine - we are committed to interdisciplinary research and teaching under our "One Health, One Medicine" ethos. In 2024, we welcomed our first cohort to the new School of Medicine, marking an exciting chapter in our growth.

Benefits

In return we offer a generous pension, relocation assistance where appropriate, flexible working options including job share and blended home/campus working locations (dependent on work duties), access to world-class leisure facilities on campus, a range of travel schemes and supportive family friendly benefits including an excellent on-site nursery.
