Responsibilities
As an integral part of the Commercial Operations team, reporting to the Demand Manager, the individual will be responsible for:
4. Monthly review of forecasted demand by sku, aligned to the Demand Review and S&OP process timelines.
5. Review of projected demand, stock, and replenishments to identify risks of stock shortage or obsolescence in advance. Work with the supply planners to adjust replenishments as necessary to reduce such risks.
6. A weekly review of current stock holding to identify any slow-moving inventory, possible expiry date risk and stock shortages.
7. Prepare and manage Request of Changes to Master Arrival Schedule and get corresponding approvals (formal RCMAS process).
8. Prepare and review forecast accuracy reports, KPI reports and other reports for discussion at Demand Reviews, highlighting the main messages for the commercial and finance teams
9. Perform stock reconciliation activities on a regular basis to ensure stock holding is reported accurately in SAP
10. Ongoing review, maintenance, and submission of the affiliate's Material Master Data
11. Reporting of actual and potential back orders for the affiliate through the back-order tool
12. Preparation and review of the stock provision accrual, based on current stock holding, forecasted demand and expiry/artwork changes
13. Support the 3PL with the smooth processing of inbound shipments and support as necessary
14. Analyse the 3PL monthly stock counts to ensure that all inventory is counted as per policy
15. Ad-hoc analysis where demand is consistently ahead of forecast to ensure a thorough understanding is gained of what the drivers are
16. Support the use of the Statistical Forecasting process, ensuring that the forecast is accurate and support the correct stock levels
17. Provide monthly reporting on inventory, summarised by brand
18. Support Customer Service queries related to outbound deliveries and inventory
Providing support for:
19. the Crisis Management Team where possible stock shortages are identified
20. new asset launches and product discontinuations as required
21. the customer service team as required
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
Systems
22. Microsoft Suite, including excel
23. SAP (preferred)
24. JDA (preferred)
Business Knowledge
25. Previous Demand or Supply experience
26. Strong analytical skills
27. Knowledge and experience of the Supply Chain processes
28. Previous experience working in an international business setting (desirable)
29. Pharmaceutical Industry background (preferred)
