Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Rotherham
Pay Rate: £150 to £220 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Are you a creative and passionate Art Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of artists? GSL Education is seeking a motivated and imaginative educator to join secondary schools in Rotherham from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to encourage self-expression, visual literacy, and technical skill in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Encourage creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking through a variety of media.
• Maintain an organised and inspiring classroom/studio environment.
• Assess and track pupil progress, offering constructive feedback.
• Support students in building portfolios and preparing for assessments.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Art and Design.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for visual arts.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
