As a LOVE Project Worker, your responsibilities will include:
* Building good relationships with our young people and encouraging them to achieve their goals.
* Plan activities in line with working towards goals and outcomes for our young people.
* Working in a positive way with parents and partner agencies to ensure the best opportunities are available for our young people.
* The ability to communicate and document important relevant information and any updates to management.
* Creating Care Plans and supporting Assistant Project Workers.
* Attending meetings as appropriate and to participate in the effective, supportive, and efficient working of the team.
* Having an understanding of the principles of safeguarding and child protection legislation.
* Supporting staff supervisions and spot checks.

The ideal candidate for this role will:
* Have experience working with young people with complex needs.
* Be resourceful and to be able to demonstrate a 'can do' attitude with consistency and patience.
* Able to show you can build a good rapport and relationships with a wide variety of people.
* Ability to empower and inspire confidence in others.
* A minimum of an SVQ 3 or equivalent in health and social care.
* A minimum 3 years experience working with children and young people with additional support needs.
