This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced, passionate and genuinely caring individuals to join our LOVE Team, this is a combined role supporting vulnerable children and young adults within the LOVE hub and the community. As a LOVE Project Worker, your responsibilities will include: Building good relationships with our young people and encouraging them to achieve their goals. Plan activities in line with working towards goals and outcomes for our young people. Working in a positive way with parents and partner agencies to ensure the best opportunities are available for our young people. The ability to communicate and document important relevant information and any updates to management. Creating Care Plans and supporting Assistant Project Workers. Attending meetings as appropriate and to participate in the effective, supportive, and efficient working of the team. Having an understanding of the principles of safeguarding and child protection legislation. Supporting staff supervisions and spot checks. The ideal candidate for this role will: Have experience working with young people with complex needs. Be resourceful and to be able to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude with consistency and patience. Able to show you can build a good rapport and relationships with a wide variety of people. Ability to empower and inspire confidence in others. A minimum of an SVQ 3 or equivalent in health and social care. A minimum 3 years experience working with children and young people with additional support needs.
