Job Description
* Job Title: Terminal Operator
* Job Type: Casual working hours
* Job Location: Belfast
* Salary: £13.69 per hour
As a Casual Terminal Operator you’ll be responsible for undertaking Terminal & Jetty operations, ensuring that operational and client requirements are met and in compliance with Client and SGS procedures. You will also ensure that tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, minimising any potential hazards, allowing the safe discharge of vessels at various locations.
Key Accountabilities;
* Help vessels dock safely and oversee the transfer of oil and gas products.
* Monitor storage tanks to make sure there’s no underfilling or overfilling.
* Keep the jetty clean and safe.
* Carry out safety checks before and after ships arrive.
* Report any safety issues or incidents.
Qualifications
Experience isn’t required for this role. What matters is that you’re comfortable working varied hours, have good availability, and are prepared for a physically demanding, outdoor job.
