Prospero Teaching is seeking a nurturing, reliable, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in The New Forest (SO45). The successful candidate will support students' learning and development, focusing on those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
2. Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, especially those with SEN.
3. Helping create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
4. Supporting students’ social and emotional development.
5. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications/Requirements:
* Experience working within schools and with children with SEN is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A nurturing, reliable, and compassionate nature.
* A commitment to supporting the learning and development of all students.
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
* Have the right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide references upon request
* Possess up-to-date Safeguarding Training (or be willing to undertake this)
