A welcoming and supportive primary school in St Ives is looking for a dedicated Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners while developing your own skills in a friendly school environment.
Your Role Will Include
Working Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, during term time only
Providing in-class support across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Helping to run small group activities and 1:1 learning sessions
Assisting with classroom organisation, behaviour routines, and learning resources
Collaborating with teachers and the SENDCo to meet the needs of all pupils
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Holds a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
Has experience with children in an education or care setting (advantageous but not essential)
Brings enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive attitude to the classroom
Is patient, adaptable, and able to follow guidance and routines
Has strong literacy and numeracy skills
Holds a current DBS on the Update Service (or is happy to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
