Are you passionate about delivering high-quality IT services that make a real difference to how people work? North Lanarkshire Council is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Infrastructure Support Assistant to join End User Computing (EUC) within the council’s Digital Infrastructure Team.
As part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of the Council’s ICT infrastructure. You will help deliver secure, efficient, and user-focused IT solutions that support the needs of our internal customers across a wide range of services.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in ICT infrastructure support and development, particularly in Microsoft technologies. You will be involved in supporting large-scale projects, resolving technical issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our digital services.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A qualification at SVQ3, HNC or equivalent in an ICT-related discipline.
2. Experience in ICT infrastructure development and support, including fault diagnosis and resolution for Windows, Android, and iOS.
3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Intune, Configuration Manager, Entra ID, and Defender for Endpoint.
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
5. A self-motivated, organised individual who can work to targets and adapt quickly to challenges.
6. Knowledge of security standards and best practices.
7. Experience with project delivery and working with third-party vendors.
