GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join schools in the Bawtry area. This role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, broaden pupils’ understanding of physical and human geography, and develop their skills in enquiry, analysis, and critical thinking. Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages. Inspire curiosity and deepen pupils’ understanding of global, national, and local issues. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages discussion and enquiry. Assess progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students in reaching their potential. Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and innovative teaching approaches. Maintain high standards of classroom management, behaviour, and safeguarding. Requirements for Geography Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Strong subject knowledge in Geography is desirable. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities. A genuine passion for inspiring young people to engage with geographical issues. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
