Role description
Play a key role delivering tech sector mega-projects. You will be an experienced Electrical Project Manager joining a rapidly growing team and will contribute to delivering one of our biggest data centre construction projects. You can be based 100% in country, or there will be significant international travel to the Nordics (11/3 day rotation).
Role accountabilities
You will be responsible for managing the electrical packages of hyperscale data centre construction projects, taking projects through pre-construction, construction, and close out/fit-up.
Day-to-day this includes but is not limited to:
Pre-construction
* Working with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget
* Supporting Contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations
* Supporting contract negotiations
* Assisting the client and the Client’s team in identifying, scoping, buying-out and scheduling of all Owner-direct vendors and consultants
Construction
* Managing the General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground
* Coordinating Value Engineering efforts during the construction phase
* Working with the Client’s commercial and PCG team to develop Budget Management and Tracking
* Liaising with the Client’s schedule management team to provide Schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis
Close out/Fit up
* Initiating close out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance
* Establishing close out documentation requirements with the Client’s document controller. Collect and track receipt of all close out documents until completion, including warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, etc.
* Assisting with City and/or other Authority final inspections and occupancy process
* Assisting the Client in scheduling, coordination and management of all Owner-direct vendors, consultants

* Ability to manage technical disciplines
* Experience working on Data Centre new build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds
* Ability to commit to significant international travel
