Job Description
3. Manage all accounting transactions
4. Prepare budget forecasts
5. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
6. Ensure timely bank payments
7. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
8. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
9. Report on the company's financial health and liquidity
10. Audit financial transactions and documents
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
11. Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant
12. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
13. Hands-on experience with accounting software
14. Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
15. Experience with general ledger functions
16. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
