Depot Engineer\n\nWB Power Services Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Depot Engineer to join our team based at our Gloucester depot. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, family-run business that puts people first and plays a vital role in powering essential infrastructure across the region.\n\nAt WBPS, we supply, maintain, and hire generators nationwide. As a key Depot Engineer, you’ll be supporting our Rehlko and Kohler hire generator fleet, ensuring top performance and uptime for key sites across the South West and South Wales, including major infrastructure and utility networks.\n \nThe Role\n\nCarry out planned and reactive maintenance on diesel generators (20–1500kVA).\nDiagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs.\nProvide occasional field support, using a company vehicle.\nCollaborate with the service coordination team to ensure efficient scheduling.\nMaintain accurate records using our in-house system.\nCollect parts from local suppliers as required.\nEnsure all work is carried out safely and in line with H&S and quality standards. \nThis is a 5 in 7 contract, primarily covering weekday work but will include weekend work on a rota basis to support business-critical operations\n \nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nMechanical or electrical background (NVQ Level 3 or time served).\nHands-on experience with diesel generators\nComfortable diagnosing and resolving faults independently.\nStrong communication skills – able to liaise confidently with customers and colleagues.\nFull UK driving licence (max 6 points).
