Our Customer Delivery Driver rate starts from £13.35/hour; inside the M25, it increases to £14.56/hour. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week for new colleagues, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible and support different availability needs.
We will schedule your hours within your available windows and provide 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. We are open to flexible availability that closely matches our advertised times.
Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As the face of Tesco on the road, you will deliver from Lands' End to John O'Groats, meeting customers in their homes. This role involves more than driving; it’s about helping others and delivering excellent service with a smile.
It is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and you will have support from managers and colleagues back at the store.

Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized
* Keeping the delivery area tidy and picking up litter
* Washing trays as required
* Loading the van and checking for roadworthiness
* Communicating with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds
* Handling products carefully
* Delivering within the scheduled time slot
* Calling customers before early arrivals and informing stores if late
Minimum requirements:
* A valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
* Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and customers
* Friendly and welcoming demeanor
* Adaptability to changing customer needs
* Energetic and motivated to exceed expectations
