About the Role
An Independent school in Brent requires a talented Music Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. You will deliver inspiring music lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a dedicated Music Teacher.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons, focusing on performance, composition, and music theory.
* Prepare students for assessments and performances.
* Develop students' musical skills and appreciation.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the music curriculum and resources.
* Organise and potentially lead music-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music.
* Proven experience teaching music at secondary level.
* Strong musical skills and knowledge of music theory.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to engage and motivate students.
