Our client is one of the largest and most respected regional accountancy firms in the West Midlands, North West and North Wales. With a turnover of ~£15m and a growing footprint following an acquisition, they're now looking to appoint a Tax Advisory Director to join their high-performing team.
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded tax professional with aspirations of partnership to join a firm that combines technical excellence with a strong client-first ethos. This person will be a leading voice in tax advisory for their offices in Cheshire.
The Role
As Tax Director, you'll:
* Act as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients and prospects.
* Deliver high-quality, on-the-spot commercial and tax advice.
* Build and nurture relationships with professional introducers across the region.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a talented tax team of 12, including 3 senior specialists.
* Play a key role in growing the firm's tax advisory services and market presence.
About You
You are likely to be:
* A qualified accountant or CTA, currently operating at Senior Manager level or above.
* A confident communicator with a strong commercial mindset.
* Experienced in advising both corporate and private clients on tax and business matters.
* A natural leader with a passion for developing people and growing client relationships.
Location & Flexibility
You will work out of either the Northwich or Shrewsbury office, with a flexible hybrid working model that includes:
