Pay: £88.92- £95
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Worthing, who are seeking a committed Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning and social needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help a child thrive, develop confidence and engage positively in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with individual needs
Assist with learning activities, adapting tasks when necessary
Promote independence, emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO and school support team
Maintain a calm, encouraging and child-centred approach
Support the pupil’s integration into the classroom and wider school life
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND
Patient, nurturing and resilient
Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Confident in following educational and behavioural strategies
Good communication skills
Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting children’s development
Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or be registered on the Update Service)
