Assistant Field Service Technician
Location: Cornwall / Devon. Employment type: Permanent – Full time (40 hours). Competitive salary & benefits.

Responsibilities
* Work safely and effectively on your own or as part of a two or three person crew installing and maintaining Detectronic Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network.
* Diagnose problems and take appropriate action with minimal supervision.
* Enter confined spaces when required.
* Travelling to other parts of the UK may be required.
Qualifications
* Full, clean UK driving licence held for at least 2 years.
* Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a crew on site.
* Comfortable working outside in all weathers and in confined spaces.
* Polite and respectful when accessing manholes at people’s homes or business sites.
* Resourceful, hands‑on and practical.
* Existing health, safety and environmental certificates (CSCS, Confined Space Entry Controller, NRSWA Unit 2, First Aid) are an advantage.

About the Role
As part of the Field Services team, you will carry out installation, calibration and maintenance of Detectronic’s Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network, predominantly in the Cornwall & Devon Region. There may also be a requirement to travel to other parts of the UK when needed.
