Your new company A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their Operations team. Your new role As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in managing material movements across the facility and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded on the ERP system. Your responsibilities will include: Loading and unloading vehicles, receiving and checking deliveries, and reporting discrepancies before booking items into the system Booking parts into the ERP system and ensuring prompt put-away Issuing materials to and from designated areas using the inventory management system Scanning and filing all paperwork accurately Completing regular stock counts and reporting any discrepancies Preparing job kits by printing job lists, picking orders, wrapping, packing, labelling and shipping to internal and external customers Ensuring all orders are dispatched within required deadlines Reviewing and ordering factory consumables as needed Maintaining all storage and stock areas in a safe, tidy and organised condition Adhering to and promoting all safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and equipment What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring: Previous experience in a fast-paced stores or warehouse environment A valid forklift licence (desirable) Strong computer literacy, including MS Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team What you'll get in return You will join a stable and supportive team within a respected organisation that promotes its core values of Family, Safety and Integrity.
