TeacherActive are proud to be working with a supportive SEND setting in Oldbury who are seeking a dedicated English Teacher. The provision supports pupils with SEMH and Autism, providing a structured and nurturing environment where learners can re-engage with education. The school promotes consistency, care and high expectations for all students.
This long-term English Teacher role will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 learners with SEMH and Autism, delivering engaging and differentiated English lessons. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing lessons in line with school policy, with full PPA time provided. This English Teacher role requires a calm, adaptable and consistent approach to support pupils with a range of additional needs.
The successful English Teacher will have:
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level
• Experience working with SEMH and/or Autism
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
